How to delete your account

Your account is of utmost importance. To delete it, we will direct you to a more secure environment.

If you wish to permanently delete your Text Radar account, follow this process:

Step 1: Go to the "Your Account" menu

1. Click the Menu button (the icon at the top right of your screen).
2. Select "Your Account".

Step 2: Find the delete option

1. Within "Your Account", choose the "Delete account" option.

2. In the section dedicated to this option, you will see a warning stating:

   • All your information, history, and associated data will be permanently deleted.
   • This action is irreversible.

Step 3: Confirm deletion

1. If you click "Delete account", the system will take you to a heightened security environment where, for security, you will be asked to confirm your decision.

2. At this point, you have two options:

   • Cancel: You will return to the main menu without changes.
   • Confirm deletion: Your account will be deleted, and you will be redirected to the homepage.

Troubleshooting

I receive an error when trying to delete my account

• Check your Internet connection and try again.
• Log out and log back in before attempting to delete your account.

I deleted my account by mistake

• Unfortunately, account deletion is irreversible.
• You can create a new account, but previous data cannot be recovered.

After deleting my account, I am not redirected to the homepage.

• Manually refresh your browser.
• Clear your cache (Ctrl+F5 on Windows/Linux, ⌘+R on Mac) and cookies if the problem persists.
