Cookie Policy
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small amounts of information stored on the user’s computer, phone, tablet, or any other device so the server can remember certain information for later use. This information identifies you as a specific user and saves your personal preferences, as well as technical details such as visits or browsing time on the website. Using this information allows the server hosting the website to recognize the browser used, enabling, for example, a registered user to access restricted areas without logging in each time and to remember language, country, etc., preferences for future visits. This information can also be used to measure website traffic and audience metrics or to display personalized ads based on your browsing.
2. Who uses the cookie information?
Laboratorio de Inteligencia Artificial en Español, S.L. (hereinafter, "IA Lab”) and other third parties use on the website https://text-radar.com (hereinafter, the "Website”) the cookies detailed in the table in section "5. What cookies are used on the Website?” of this Cookie Policy. This table also indicates the external entities using the information stored in third-party cookies.
3. What types of cookies are used on the Website and for what purposes?
IA Lab and other third parties use the following types of cookies on the Website for the purposes listed below:
- Technical or functional cookies (necessary): these allow browsing through the Website, using different options or services, and ensuring the proper functioning of the site. For example, they control traffic and data communication, identify the session, access restricted areas, remember items in a purchase, complete the purchase process, manage payment, control fraud linked to service security, count visits for software license billing, use security features while browsing, store content for video or audio distribution, or enable dynamic content (e.g., text or image loading animations).
- Preference or configuration cookies: these remember information so the user accesses the service with certain features that differentiate their experience from other users, such as language, number of results displayed in a search, the appearance or content of the service depending on the browser type used to access the service, or the region from which they access it, etc.
- Statistical or analytics cookies: these allow tracking and analyzing user behavior on the Website. The information collected is used to measure Website activity and introduce improvements based on usage data analysis. These cookies analyze the number of visitors to the Website and its sections, visit origin, date and time, platform, number of clicks on a banner or search terms used to find the desired content. This way, IA Lab gains a useful tool to improve the Website and understand which content or design is most relevant to users.
- Behavioral advertising or marketing cookies: these store information about user behavior obtained through continuous observation of their browsing habits, allowing a specific profile to be developed to display advertising accordingly.
4. How to manage cookies?
The user can manage their cookie preferences on the Website at any time by:
- The configuration panel provided by IA Lab.
- Other third-party tools available online that allow users to detect cookies on each website they visit and manage their deactivation (e.g., Ghostery).
Additionally, the user can enable:
- Private browsing, where the browser stops saving browsing history, website passwords, cookies, and other page information, or
- The do-not-track function, where the browser requests websites not to track browsing habits.
Finally, we inform you that to allow, view, block, or delete cookies installed on your device, you can do so through the browser settings or the specifically provided cookie configuration panel. The user can configure their browser at any time to disable cookie installation and delete those already installed. If you do not allow cookie installation, you may not be able to access some Website features and/or services, and your browsing experience may be less satisfactory.
